HD Hyundai Infracore’s construction equipment brand ‘DEVELON’ won the main prize in the branding (product/service) category at the ‘iF Design Award 2024’ in Germany.
iF Design Award is one of the world's most credible global design awards, along with Germany's 'Red Dot' and the US's 'IDEA', and this year, about 11,000 entries from 72 countries competed fiercely.
With this award, HD Hyundai Infracore's 'DEVELON' received the honor of winning the design award for 2 years straight, following last year's product category winner, 10t bulldozer (model name: DD100).
In particular, HD Hyundai Infracore successfully established the brand identity of its newly launched brand ‘DEVELON’ in January last year and received high scores in the Impact and Differentiation categories.
HD Hyundai Infracore applies DEVELON's unique brand identity to various design and customer communication elements such as various promotional materials, contents, and product exteriors, based on consistent branding standards using the visual symbol 'Onward Graphics'.
DEVELON ‘Onward Graphics’ embodies HD Hyundai Infracore’s vision of ‘creating a better future through constant innovation.’ The main color, ‘DEVELON Orange’, symbolizes the succession of accumulated brand assets and the meaning of new challenges based on them.
Through an innovative marketing strategy to build an independent brand, DEVELON won the Minister's Award at the government-sponsored Korea Brand Awards at the end of last year, 1 year after its launch.
HD Hyundai Infracore said, “We are doing our best to build DEVELON’s unique brand roadmap,” and added, “We will foster differentiated brand assets comparable to the world’s best construction equipment technology.”
Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Infracore plans to actively promote the DEVELON brand to European customers by participating in the construction equipment exhibition "INTERMAT 2024" in Paris, France, at the end of April.
