Hyundai Doosan Infracore participated in the 'M&T Expo(Machinery and Equipment Expo) 2022' helding in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from August 30 to September 2. M&T Expo is the largest international exhibition of construction and mining machinery in Latin America, helding every three years. It is a representative event in Latin America with more than 40,000 visitors from 40 countries around the world.
This year's Hyundai Doosan Infracore exhibited five Doosan excavators (DX530LC-7M, DX360LC-7M, DX220LC-7M, DX27Z-7M, DX35Z-7M mini excavator), and SD200-3 wheel loader in a sizeable outdoor booth with a total area of 600㎡. In particular, the new '-7M series' launched in emerging markets in the second half of last year were introduced and drew much attention from visitors.
Tech Zone was also operated to introduce the XiteCloud, DoosanCONNECT application, and Machine Monitoring Center (MMC) for promoting the company's technological prowess. Social media hashtag events, including the DoosanCONNECT application subscription event and live broadcasting, added fun to the exhibition.
During this exhibition period, more than 1,000 visitors visited Hyundai Doosan Infracore booth. We sold more than 100 units of equipment at the exhibition, successfully completing the exhibition.
On August 31, during this exhibition, the Latin America dealer conference was held with the main theme of 'Doosan, Here in Brazil'. It contains our willingness to solidify further Hyundai Doosan Infracore's position in Brazil, which has been somewhat stagnant along with growth in the Brazil and Latin America markets.
At the conference, more than 30 people, including Hyundai Doosan Infracore CEO Seunghyun Oh, executives and company officials: Head of Sales Oukjin Jeong, and Senior VP Emerging Mr. Oh gave an opening speech about the changes in the business environment and future directions of Hyundai Doosan Infracore.
Mr. Oh said that as Hyundai Doosan Infracore joins the Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, the synergy effect of the three construction equipment companies will maximize. And he hoped that everyone who attended this conference would join the journey to grow into a more potent global construction equipment company.
The last event in Brazil was gala dinner, which became a place to strengthen relationships with distributor.
